Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was full of activity this year. It is always a big holiday on my side of the family when we gather to spend time together, eat food & celebrate Jesus' Resurrection. David & I also decided this would be a great time to have Gabriel's baptism. A lot of family was planning to be in town anyway so they wouldn't have to make two trips.

On Saturday, Gabe & I went over to my parents house where my three sisters, brother-in-law & two nieces were staying. My aunt from Georgia was also here with her husband. Gabe made good use of Mom & Dad's crib while I got to play with the girls outside & spend some time catching up with my sisters. We all went out to eat for Dad's birthday & then went home to bathe our children for Easter morning. :)

Sunday morning we actually made it to church early for the Baptism. Our church has recently introduced a second service at 11 am (which we prefer for sleeping in) so it has yet to be extremely well attended. We chose to have Gabe baptized at this time, so it was a semi private ceremony. He did awesome & actually slept through the whole thing!! After taking pictures & changing clothes we went back to Mom & Dad's for lunch, cake & presents. Thanks to everyone for helping us celebrate & for the cards/gifts!!!!
