David's mom Diane came to visit the day Gabriel was born & stayed to help us home after two days. Then my mom came to stay with us for a few days. Both grandmas were awesome!! They got to spend time holding the baby & helping out as needed. Our entire house got cleaned & both David and I enjoyed being at home. My two sisters Danielle & Jenna also came for a visit the next weekend. Gabe went on his first trip in the car & spent some time at the mall. My sister Alicia came the next weekend with her two little girls. They were both very excited to see & hold Gabe.

Gabe's umbilical cord fell off after about 10 days so he was ready for his first bath when Alicia & the girls were there. Mom really did all of the washing while we all crammed into the nursery to watch!! Gabe loved the water & didn't cry until he was taken out & lotioned up.
